Advertising Crawl Manager

The Advertising Crawl Manager (also referred to as just the Crawl Manager), was software used to create and maintain the "on-screen effect which displays a block of text as a single line that scrolls from right to left across the bottom of the television screen during the local forecast." This effect is referred to as a "crawl." The Crawl Manager is accessed via a modem or a terminal/terminal emulator.
